Last day of September 2006!

Its October 1st, 2006! Can you believe it? Time flies. I am working, its the weekend! Notre Dame won today against Purdue. For those who give a crap, the Florida Gators won against Alabama also. I don't like Florida teams, not a one. The Chicago Bears are undefeated, but they play against the Seattle Seahawks today. Good luck! I went to bed at 5am Saturday morning, hoping I could sleep through the day so I wouldn't be tired at work like always. Yeah Right! I ended up waking up at 11:30am to take care of Jasmine and no more nappies for me. Jasmine is a handful. She slept a lot today though. Its not her fault I didn't nap. I'm obsessed with working out. I didn't feel like leaving the house to go to the gym so I pulled out the treadmill and I worked out for a bit. I did yoga stretches afterwards and ab exercises. I need a firmer core to help with my back spasms. Jasmine started drinking fruit juice today. She loved it.

Tuesday, September 26, 2006

Today, Steven got home at around 8am this morning from working nightshift. He was sooo tired. I had to get out of the house and make my way to Jasmine's pediatrician's office for her 4 month immunization appointment. I got there about half an hour early, which is unusual for me. It was awful. Jasmine cried so much. She weighed 16lbs 3 oz and measured at 26". She is tall like mommy and daddy. I went to Target in Orlando, continuing the hunt for the 10th Anniversary Edition of Tickle Me Elmo. Officially called Elmo T.M.X. I have a couple of people on the hunt for it. The toy was released on 9/19 and was sold out everywhere the same day. http://www.wftv.com/news/9913137/detail.html?rss=orlc&psp=irresistible This previous link shows just how desperate people are for these new toys. I went on Ebay and they were selling for about $150.00, when the actual retail price is $39.99. The Fisher-Price website says they won't be sold online at www.fisher-price.com until 2007. Insanity. I want one cause I know Jasmine will go crazy when she sees it. I will make it a mission for her Christmas present. The hunt continues! I bought some new exercise gear so I can look cute while sweating my a$$ off at the gym. I went again today. Finally got an aerobics schedule. Tomorrow, I'm doing yoga at 6:30pm. I am hesitant about the child care at the gym because it mostly consists of older kids and there's only one person in charge of all of them. I'm not sure she'll be able to give our Jasmine the attention she needs, and DESERVES. I ran a 12 minute mile today (trying to keep up with Steven who's been jogging again). After that I walked with an incline of eight for about 10 more minutes. That was even harder than the 12 minute mile. After that, I decided to exercise my upper body since I did legs, abs, and butt yesterday. Everything was going great until I decided to throw in some abs again today. I think I pulled something. I was starting to feel better but after I was already home, I sneezed and bent over in horrible pain. I think I herniated my abdomen. Just what I need. Hope the pain goes away by tomorrow. While Steven and Jasmine napped, I finally got to watch the season premiere of Heroes. LOVED IT! By the time Steven was ready to go to work at 9:30, Jasmine was throwing her nightly tantrum, except this time it wasn't a tantrum. She was actually running a fever of 100.1. Mom was really worried. I ran a rubber ducky bath for her and she was happy for about 20 minutes. Then the crying was back. I got her dressed in her new Halloween Pajamas (so cute), and she calmed down about 30 minutes later. I also picked up Jasmine's Halloween costume at Target today. I will not say what she's gonna be because I want it to be a surprise. All I know is that its gonna be hot! Anyways, nothing to watch on TV right now. The house is lonely even though full of people when Steven is not around! I miss you dude!

Guess what? Gas is getting cheaper and cheaper everyday. $2.19 with your Walmart Card at the Villages. Awesome huh? Steven works night shift this next week, which means, I get to go home tomorrow morning and sleep. Tomorrow I'm going to the gym. I have decided to join Xtreme Fitness Gym in Leesburg. No more flab. Steven went jogging this afternoon, I should have gone with him. Everytime I even THINK about dieting, I gain one or two more pounds. Last week, after I called every gym in town to find out about child care, I found out about Xtreme Fitness. I got Jasmine dressed, determined to start a new healthy routine, as soon as I finished dressing her and getting her bag ready, my back spasm'd again. I thought it was very opportunistic of my body to give out on me just as I'm trying to get active. No biggie, I think I've rested enough. Jasmine is now 4 months old and I still haven't gotten active. I need energy. I am dragging all the time. Spending time in the computer blogging lol. With the new fall seasons starting, my Tivo is working over-time, and my rear end is numb from all the time sitting in front of the TV. Francisco's 28th birthday was yesterday. I finally got to calling him today on my way back from picking up Japanese food in Leesburg. He's in San Antonio taking a class. I can't wait to go visit him on October 16. Only Monday through Thursday but still awesome. Tonight, Desperate Housewives started. NOT IMPRESSED! Anyways, I can't wait til this week, new gym, Steven working nightshift, Jasmine's 4 month immunization appointment, Thursday's dentist appointment for my crown placement. Good times!

Saturday, September 16, 2006!

Today, Saturday, September 16, 2006; Steven, Jose, and I went to Kelvin's 1st Birthday party. It was Superman themed, and EVERYTHING was Superman. Steven and I had to leave right before an actual Superman was supposed to perform and entertain the kids. There was a very loud DJ in the room so I had to keep Jasmine out of the birthday party most of the time. Steven was more than happy to stay outside with her because in the lobby, there was a big plasma TV, and he sat down to watch the disastrous Notre Dame game. http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/5964700 There's the link for the awful story once again. Something unexpected happenned today. I am currently experiencing terrible back spasms. I have never suffered from this before. In the past, I had seen Steven in pain from back spasms and thought he was just being a big cry baby. I, now, apologize. The pain is horrible. I tried to call in to work but I am too responsible nowadays, plus, I get concerned for my co workers if they're short-staffed. Thankfully, I had already cooked my dish for the potluck. (Chicken Casserole - Adam's recipe) Good stuff. Today, we were celebrating something else. Deb's birthday. She gave Jasmine the huge stuffed Hello Kitty. She will soon be our new charge nurse for the unit (the other one is going to weeknights). TRAITOR lol. We're a pretty tight bunch here at nightshift. I will probably be going home early tonight because I am, plus, I look, miserable. Mom is on a date tonight. Good for her! Hope it works out. This morning, my dearest husband got my car's oil change, AND, my car detailed, inside and out. Beautiful again. I love that car. I love that husband. :-) Last night, we went out on a date. We went to see this movie: It was Okay. I kind of liked it, but I probably wanted to watch it because of the girl that plays the Black Dahlia. I'm kind of a fan. I just took another half of a Flexiril. It helps calm down the spasms, but I am sooo sooo sooo sleepy. I was just shuffling through the pile of everyday news, and saw that a baby in Mo. was kidnapped. The 1 week old's mom had posted a sign outside of her house announcing the new arrival. It made me remember the sign that my mom bought for Steven and I to post on our door for when our Jasmine was born. Steven refused to put it up because of all the weirdos. Now, I am glad I saw it his way. It makes me sick! The abductor apparently just walked in the house with the false motives of using a phone, then, when she was in, she said: "I am here to take your baby." They struggled and fought, but the new mom got stabbed several times, and later, her throat was cut. She is alive though. If something like that ever happenned to me, I would rather be dead. Anyways, all this writting is making my back stiffer. I sign off now, gotta finish watching Kill Bill 2 for the ninety-ninth time. Bye

Notre Dame Lost!!!!!!!!!!!

September 12, 2006

Hey, It's almost September 13 now. Its 11:27PM and I just finished watching Nip/Tuck. Always shocking. Today, I invited my dad out for lunch but he was busy. During the day, I went to visit my abuela, who fell on Monday morning and bruised her cheek. I made her lunch and she was very happy to be in the company of her grandaughter and great-grandaughter. Jasmine likes to smile at her. I made her lunch, and off to Wal Mart, where I got a phone call and I spent about an hour trying to get signal around the store. Its almost useless. I made it home finally, only to find out that Steven was not gonna be able to make it home until really really late. He wasnt lying. He made it home at around six thirty, only to sit in the computer to do a quiz due tonight for school. I can't wait til he graduates. I guess I'm still kind of on night-shift schedule because I can't sleep. I discovered something amazing. Its a website where you can post your videos, then later on, you can blog them in your own website. I already created a profile on it and everything. Don't read too much into my profile, I'm just goofing around. http://www.youtube.com/user/florisita I hope it works. I still haven't loaded any videos to it because I have them in the removable memory thingie and the thingie is in the room, where my daughter and husband are sleeping while I waste my time some more in this computer. Also, I forgot to mention that Notre Dame kicked Penn State's behind this last Saturday, AND, the Indiana Colts ALSO kicked the New York Giant's behind on Sunday. LOVE FOOTBALL SEASON!!!

This week - September 3!!!

Today is Saturday, well actually, it's Sunday morning. (3:35am). I am at work, AGAIN. Waiting in one of the pods for one of my three o'clock treatments to be done. I also have the ER today which means I've been called down to do things just when I think I'm done with my rounds. I almost missed the Notre Dame game kickoff last night. FINALLY, COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS BACK!!!!!!!!!! I sure have missed it, yet it sucks that I'm stuck at work. At least I'm with people I enjoy being around. If I was working at LRMC during a weekend while Notre Dame was playing, I surely would have jumped off the top of the parking garage. LOL! Notre Dame won 10-14 against Georgia Tech. It was kind of a close one, but not really. I received a call from my friend Evelyn today. She got a new email and she also wanted to let me know that her older sister finally had her baby. Her mom is staying with her. We talked for a little bit but I had to hang up because I had to start my work day. Today, FINALLY, my momma brought home her new SUV. A 2006 Ford Escape. An awesome deal. Lucky!!!!!!! Jose liked it. Jasmine will be riding in style. So, we're finally moved in at mom's. I already had a mini altercation with Jose yesterday morning, I wanted to kill him and he was obviously wanting to die too because he wouldn't let it go which made me even madder. It's all good now. He knows not to mess with me too much. He lifts weights and all but he knows I'll snap him like a twig if I have to. On Wednesday, when "Hurricane Ernesto" was supposed to hit Central Florida, I went to my co-worker's father's funeral. Other people from work were supposed to be there but I ended up being the only one there. I'm glad I went though. One of the guys that was supposed to be there got into a car accident on his way over. That sucks. I was finally able to pick up gramma's glasses at the eye place and the garbage disposal was finally fixed. I got the things I ordered from target.com through UPS. The baskets look awesome by the fireplace. We have very tight quarters in our bedroom but it feels cozy as long as we keep it neat. Jose is horrible at putting things away after he uses them. Two days ago, after he finished the gallon of milk, he left the empty container on top of the counter. I asked him to put it in the recycle bin three times but he never even intended to. Next time he went in his room, he found the empty milk container in the middle of his floor. I think he got the hint. It was hard for me and Steven to move just us two. We had to put things in the UHaul with Jasmine still in the apartment; leave his car in Orlando cause I had to drive one car and he had to drive the UHaul; put away things at mom's house in a manner in which we didn't crowd their space; move all our things from the UHaul to the storage unit the next day with Jasmine in the car; go back to the house to pick up the boxes we'd put in mom's garage over the course of the past two months; go back to the storage unit and leave the boxes; drive over to UHaul in Leesburg to drop off the truck; and drive to Orlando to pick up Steven's car and drive back seperately. BUSY BUSY WEEK! I forgot to take a quick video of the empty apartment. I think I might miss that little SH#T hole. That was our little love nest. Our first everything happenned there. My first real happy apartment! I didn't get any sleep today. I TRIED, but my baby girl had other plans to me. This week I finally got to see two movies I've been meaning to see: Welcome to Mooseport, and Flight of the Phoenix. Both good movies. Also, Entourage ended. Ari, Vince's manager, won an Emmy. Yesterday afternoon, before I left for work, I grabbed a couple of mom's scrapbooking pages, some Jasmine photos, stickers, and Jasmine's album, and decided to take matters into my own hands. A couple of hours I finished three pages (beautiful). I couldn't do anymore because I ran out of pages. I can't wait to do more. I think I just found a new hobby. Another thing, before I forget, my stupid brother, the marine, supposedly filled with new found responsability and maturity, was supposed to come home yesterday morning. Guess what? HE MISSED HIS FLIGHT. WHAT A dumba$$ I gotta go, I've had too much coffee so nature is calling. Whenever I use the restroom here at work I always use the same one. Anyone else do this? I mean, I'm not obsessive compulsive about this. I don't NEED to just use that one. It's not as tho if the bathroom was being used and another one was empty I'd wait to use mine. That's stupid. I'd use another one. But so long as mine is open, I'm using it. Every time. It's also been crazy cold in the department lately. Which is a little on the crazy side as it is probably 100 degrees outside. But anyway, I keep a blanket around my head sometimes. It makes me look like Virgin Mary. Clearly, I must be bored as my entire post consists of pointless remarks with absolutely no thought organization. Good luck trying to make sense of my entry.
